  In "Footpath to Nowhere", I walked in a circle for eight hours straight to create an endless footpath on the University of Kansas campus, mirroring the creation of a drawing though compunding marks.  
   
     
  In "Detroit Drag", a large piece of heavyweight printmaking paper was dragged behind my car through downtown Detroit. The random marks formed during this process create the illusion of it being handmade paper, simultaneously hiding and revealing their cause.
